Resumen

ResumenEl presente trabajo tuvo como propósito obtener informaciones sobre el perfil socioeconómico y académico de los aspirantes a cursar estudios en la Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador – (Núcleo Maracay). La muestra fue conformada por 140 aspirantes. Las informaciones fueron obtenidas en entrevistas individuales, las cuales se realizaron de acuerdo con lo pautado por la Secretaría de Admisión de la institución. Los resultados evidencian que el perfil socioeconómico y académico ha variado poco en relación con lo señalado en estudios anteriores: índice académico y nivel socioeconómico bajos.Palabras Claves: condición socioeconómica, desempeño académico, formación docente.AbstractThe purpose of this work in to get information about the socioeconomical and academic profile of the applications who are going to study al the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador, Núcleo Maracay. The sample is made up by 140 applicants. The information was got from individual interviews which were done according to the stablished by the admission secretary of the institution. The results show that the socioeconomical and academic profile has changed a little in relation with the marked in previous researches (studies): low academic and socioeconomical level.Key Words: Socioeconomical Condition, Academic Role, Teaching Training.
