ESTUDIO PRELIMINAR ACERCA DEL IMPACTO DE CURSOS DE LENGUA MATERNA EN EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR Y DE LAS INVESTIGACIONES SOBRE EL TEMA

ResumenEn este artículo se expondrán los resultados preliminares de una investigación que cubrió una muestra seleccionada entre los diversos actores involucrados en la enseñanza de la lengua en EducaciónSuperior: estudiantes de varias universidades, niveles y especialidades; docentes tanto de cursos de lengua, como de otras áreas; investigadores con trabajos sobre estos problemas. Las primeras conclusiones apuntan a que el impacto de los cursos es muy reducido y menor aún el de la ampliaproducción (artículos, ponencias, trabajos de ascenso, tesis, trabajos de grado). Como consecuencia, no encuentra solución en la oferta académica universitaria, el problema del bajo nivel de competenciaescritural que, en promedio, presentan los estudiantes cuando ingresan a la educación superior y que se constituye en motor de su deficiente rendimiento.Palabras Claves: Enseñanza de la lengua; lecto-escritura.AbstractThis article will present the preliminary results of a research that covered a selected sample among the diverse orders involved in the teaching of the language in Superior Education: students from several universities, levels and specialties, language teachers, teachers of other areas, researchers with works about these problems. The first conclusions point out that the impact of the courses is reduced and minor, even in the ample production (articles, presentations, ascend works, thesis, degree works). As a consequence, the lower level of written competence that in average, presents the university students at the entrance, and that constitute the motor of its problematic yield, does not find solution to the academic university offer.Key Words: Teaching of the Language
