PROYECTO SOCIAL VENEZOLANO (1960-1970) Y SU INFLUENCIA EN EL SISTEMA EDUCATIVO

Resumen

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación que existe entre el desarrollo del proyecto social venezolano durante la década de los sesenta y la implantación de un modelo educativo soportado en la educación de masas. Se buscó, además, establecer cómo se vio afectado el sistema educativo (1960-1970) al funcionar como agente legitimador del sistema sociopolítico. Los resultados indican que la política educativa estaba dirigida a conformar una clase media que funcionaría como soporte legitimador y que generaría el desarrollo económico. Por ello, los logros a nivel cuantitativo son evidentes pero no a nivel cualitativo donde se comienza a sentir un desfase en la calidad y la pertinencia social de los aprendizajes.Palabras Claves: Educación-Estado; Educación como agente legitimador del sistema sociopolítico; Educación y Proyecto Liberal.AbstractThis work had as a purpose to establish an existing relation between the development of the Venezuelan social project (plan) during the sixties (60´s) and the introduction of an educative model based on the mass education. Besides, it was wanted to establish how the educative system (1960-1970) was affected when it worked as a legitimater (autorizer) agent of the sociopolitical system. The results show that the educative policy was aimed at conforming a medium class that it would work as a legitimater support and generate an economical development. Therefore, the achievments in a quantitative level, but not in a qualitative level where it starts feeling a backwardness in quality and the social pertinence of learning.Key Words: Education-Estate, Education as a Legitimater Agent of the Sociological System, Liberal Education and project.
